Apu Cement

APU comes from Quechua and has two concepts, one is Mountain and the other is God. Within the Inca culture the mountains were sacred and considered to be protective of the community. We use blocks as patterns to form a mountain, we define a strong typography and also a new color, associated with construction elements.

The project aimed to generate a modern, powerful and distinctive identity, which completely took off from its previous version. In addition, with the APU we take a step forward in the cement industry by using white paper for the first time. With this we make the paper the main protagonist of the packaging and we use it as a distinctive brand element.
